Solukon's SPR® technology helps Lortek achieve production of a 3D printed aerospace part
A collaboration between Solukon and Lortek demonstrates the powder removal capabilities of Solukon's Smart Powder Recuperation SPR® technology.
Lortek is a member of the BRTA research alliance. It is a private technology centre that explores the use of various AF technologies, including SLM, LMD and WAAM technologies across all industry sectors. The centre also manages several European projects and one of them, which has recently raised many challenges, is FLOWCAASH
The main objective of this project is to design and fabricate reliable and safe aircraft-scale flow control actuators using selective laser melting (SLM). These actuators should be able to withstand high temperatures (up to 260°C) and pressures (5 bar) in flight tests with high aerodynamic performance and resistance to extreme environments."
