Apis Cor has built the largest two-storey 3D printed building in Dubai

Apis Cor has built the largest two-storey 3D printed building in Dubai
Apis Cor recently collaborated with the Dubai Municipality to construct a two-storey building. The construction 3D printing specialist is using its 3D printing technology to complete the project. The project is being carried out in Warsan, a municipality known for its industrial activities. It took a year for the Apis Cor team to meet the Emirate's high construction requirements. A year of intensive R&D devoted to testing the equipment in harsh weather conditions and developing the 3D printing material.

"Thanks to the unique design of the Apis Cor 3D printer, the building structure was built directly on site, without any additional assembly work. The total area of the building is 640 square metres, which is larger than the printing area accessible when the Apis Cor 3D printer is stationary. However, Apis Cor's 3D printer is mobile and was moved to the construction site using a crane," Apis Cor explains on its website.
