"An exceptional opportunity to strengthen our market presence" - Benoit Michaut, CEO of Atome3D

As the first franchised distributor in France, Atome3D has become a key player in the resale of 3D printing equipment (3D printers, 3D scanners, filaments, resins, etc.) for professionals and individuals. It is also a key player in the 3D PRINT trade show, with over 7 participations.
With a relatively new network of franchises, CEO Benoit Michaut explains the benefits of this strategic choice for his organisation and its customers. They will be taking part again this year, from 4 to 6 June at Eurexpo Lyon.
Hello Mr Michaut, you are the founder and CEO of Atome3D. Can you tell us about your company and its role in the 3D printing ecosystem?

Since its creation eight years ago, Atome3D has become a leader in the distribution of 3D printing equipment throughout France. Our company plays a crucial role in providing the tools needed to turn ideas into physical objects using 3D printing technology, for both our professional and private customers.

Atome3D has become the leading distributor of desktop 3D printers and scanners and continues to expand with a new network of franchisees. What's in it for you and your customers?

The strategic choice to extend our network via franchisees is in line with our desire to get closer to our customers throughout France. This approach enables us to provide a local, high-quality service while offering local entrepreneurs the opportunity to share in our success. For our customers, this means easier access to our products and services, as well as local support and personalised advice for their 3D printing equipment needs.
2024 is already shaping up to be a promising year for Atome3D. What are your ambitions for the future?

Whether through our website or through our network of franchisees, we are determined to consolidate our position as leader in the French 3D printing market. We intend to expand our range of products and services to meet the growing needs of our customers, while maintaining our commitment to innovation and quality.

You've been exhibiting at 3D PRINT since 2016 and you'll be taking part in the June edition. What does the show bring to your business development?

3D PRINT is a major event for us every year. It offers us an exceptional platform to present our future Best Sellers, meet our customers and partners, and exchange ideas with key players in the industry. It's an excellent opportunity to strengthen our market presence and establish new business contacts.

Of all your participation in 3D PRINT, do you have an unforgettable experience or a memorable encounter to share with us?

I think I can safely say that the unforgettable memory will be revealed this year at the 3D PRINT show in Lyon in June! Indeed, Atome3D has decided to strike hard with a titanic project never before seen at 3D PRINT, which will enable all our customers to interact with our teams, suppliers and franchisees. I can't tell you too much to keep it a surprise, and we look forward to seeing many of you on our stand at what promises to be a memorable show!

Before we meet you at the show from 4 to 6 June, can we find out more about the new solutions you'll be exhibiting on your stand?

What I can tell you is that Atome3D will be the biggest partner at 3D PRINT, with more than 10 stands reserved at the show. Many new products are expected! So if you're passionate about 3D printing, this is your chance to come and see us on our stand.
