Additive manufacturing personnel qualification: IAMQS, an international benchmark for the industry At the 3D PRINT trade show, Philippe Lebeau, Executive Director of the French Welding Association (AFS), presents IAMQS – the International Additive Manufacturing Qualification System. This innovative framework allows manufacturers to certify their personnel for additive manufacturing processes, in compliance with ISO/ASTM 52926-2 and ISO/ASTM 52942 standards. Already implemented in several European and Asian countries, IAMQS offers modular, internationally recognized certification programs. Targeting demanding sectors such as aerospace, space, and healthcare, it provides a turnkey solution to meet the challenges of workforce qualification in metal 3D printing (L-PBF, DED, etc.).
